Executive Producer, Squeak E. Clean Studios
Christina Carlo is Executive Producer of Squeak E. Clean’s Los Angeles office, having previously led the NYC office of cross-Pacific creative audio shop Nylon Studios before its merger with Squeak E. Clean earlier this year. She came to Nylon’s NYC office in 2013, rapidly bringing a newfound momentum for its U.S. presence.
As Executive Producer, Carlo thrives on meeting tight deadlines with creative-led solutions, leveraging the company’s Sydney and Melbourne, Australia studios to offer clients virtually around-the-clock services with a fully connected production pipeline. Over the past few years, she has led the studio to achieve its most award-winning pursuits. Most recently, she collaborated with GS&P on a whimsical new holiday campaign for HP directed by Academy Award-winning director Michel Gondry, “Print The Holidays”. Additionally, their work for the Ad Council’s “Fans of Love” campaign out of R/GA New York earned a Gold and Silver Pencil at The One Show, and their work for Ad Council and Netflix received three Emmy nominations. She also worked closely with the creative team at Ogilvy Chicago to take a fresh and contemporary spin on the beloved Pull-Ups jingle, infusing a new energy that resonates with today’s parents.
Expanding the studio’s offerings into immersive audio, Carlo was an instrumental force behind their work with BBDO Toronto for Mercedes, creating an audio feast for Mercedes new AMG engine. The cinema spot aired in select Canada 4DX Cineplex Cinemas, with the Nylon team leading from the on-set direction of the location recording to meticulously fine-tuning the spatial audio design to fully immerse and entice viewers with the head-turning AMG engine sound experience.
