Partner/ECD, AnalogFolk
If there's one thing that working with Nike and pro athletes has taught Carren, it's to have audacious goals. As Partner/ECD at AnalogFolk – an independent digital creative agency with seven offices globally – Carren helps lead creative across US operations with the mission of using digital to make the analog world better.
Carren was only 29 when she founded AnalogFolk Portland, becoming the first and only female founding partner in AF's global network. Fast forward, and the now 34-year-old has created award-winning work for Nike, Facebook, LUNA Bar, Blink Fitness, L’Oréal and Hyundai, to name a few.
For Nike US Football, Carren was behind the brand’s Super Bowl efforts in ATL this year, including an activation that reinvented the shoe drop – making it rain Air Force 1s from the cloud with Nike's first-ever shoe drop using AirDrop. She also created Nike’s first podcast, TRAINED, which has over 1.5m+ downloads, was named an Editor’s Pick, reached #1 on the Health & Fitness podcasts list, and won Webby and Lovie Awards for Best Branded Podcast.
Named one of 27 senior agency leaders who are charting a new course for the industry in Adweek's 2018 Creative 100 list, Carren wants to use her influence to go beyond AF and its work. She has spearheaded industry-focused initiatives globally at AF including taking the Free the Bid pledge. And she’s using her seat on award show juries to advocate for brand work that moves the world forward. This year Carren judged One Show Interactive, the National ADDY Awards and was a 2018 juror for “Next Creative Leaders,” an initiative that shines a light on creative women on the rise.
