Studied Bachelor of Fine Arts from Raheja School Of Arts Mumbai and stood 7th in the State merit list.
Shilpa Jaikrishna Bhanushali has been in the Animation & VFX industry for more than 2 decades (Since 1995). Started as a Compositor in Crest Communication Pvt Ltd. where she was soon promoted as HOD.
After handling the creative side of Animation and VFX for almost 10 years, Bhanushali moved into management role and worked as a producer for 12 years at Prana Studios Pvt Ltd. Worked on various shows for clients such as Disney, Universal Pictures, Splash, Brown Bag Films etc.
Bhanushali's journey took a fascinating turn in 2019 when she joined ReDefine Studios as Head Of Production for the Mumbai division. Won the "VAM" Award for Best Women in VFX in 2023.
Bhanushali currently works as Head of Production at the Mumbai Division of Folks VFX since March 2025. Folks is a High-end visual effects studio based in Atlanta, Bogotá, Los Angeles, Montréal, Mumbai, New York, Saguenay, Toronto, Vancouver & London. FOLKS is a Pitch Black company.
