In 2011, he won his first Cannes Lion for directing The Dewarists, a series of ten branded documentaries on musicians and their journey to find the truth in songs.

In 2012, he wrote and directed the cult fiction series titled Bring on the Night for Eristoff Vodka. It found a place in pop culture in India leading to him being heralded as an Indie Culture Influencer by several magazines and newspapers.

His work in both these influential projects led to his long-standing collaboration and relationship with 2 time Academy Award, Grammy and Bafta-winner A R Rahman.

The two of them worked together for several years on multiple projects ranging from stage shows to virtual reality experiments and forged a special friendship.
He even found himself with his very own chapter in ARR’s biography, Notes from a Dream. ARR then chose Vishwesh to co-write and direct his dream venture 99 Songs.

Spanning over 300 television commercials and music videos with some of the world’s leading brands including Pepsi, Google, Mobil, Vodafone, Cadbury, Fiat, Sprite, Netflix to name a few, he has always been a key contributor to India’s award-winning advertising films.
