Gabrielle is an award-winning Jamaican Director and Director of Photography who has written, directed and shot films, documentaries and commercials for the US, Canadian, UK and Jamaican markets. Gabrielle’s films have screened at the Lincoln Centre, the American Black Film Festival, the Hamptons International Film Festival, Cambridge International Film Festival and the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards, amongst many others. Her latest documentary, NORMAN/NORMAN, is currently on Amazon Prime, and her commercial clients include Adidas, Clarks, Nike, Mercedes-Benz and Expedia.
An avid writer, Gabrielle is currently in pre-production as writer/director on two narrative features and is in production on her third feature documentary.
A recipient of the Geoff Evans Award for Excellence in Screen Production in New Zealand, Gabrielle holds a Master’s (Hons) in Screen Production from the University of Auckland, is a past President of the Jamaica Film & Television Association (JAFTA), is a Filmmaker’s Academy mentor and resides in Kingston as an independent filmmaker.
