Cinematographer
Brazilian-born Cinematographer and Director based between New York and São Paulo, Silva has lensed films that premiered at the Austin Film Festival, DeadCenter Film Festival, and Rhode Island Film Festival. Her work spans commercials, music videos, documentaries, fashion films, shorts, and features, with a primary focus on character-driven long-form narratives.
An alumna of the American Film Institute (AFI) and the Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña (ESCAC), Silva also holds a BA in History. In 2022, she was selected for the Vision Mentorship Program of the American Society of Cinematographers, where she was mentored by David Klein, ASC. She later joined the Terre di Cinema residency in Sicily (2023), supported by the AIC (Italian Society of Cinematographers) and BVK (German Society of Cinematographers). In 2025, she was invited as a guest speaker at Euro Cine Expo in Munich by WiC (Women in Cinematography) and Astera.
Alongside her film work, Silva is committed to promoting diversity and expanding access to filmmaking, teaching and leading workshops for underrepresented groups.
