Amr Singh is an award-winning director based in Cape Town, working across the US and Europe. He holds a degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Cape Town; an unlikely start for a filmmaker, but one that laid the foundation for his deep curiosity about people and the stories that shape them.
Over the past decade, Amr has built a career directing global campaigns for leading brands, collaborating with top agencies, and occasionally wrangling A-listers like Kevin Hart. His work has been recognised and awarded by the One Show, Promax, YDA, the Amsterdam International Film Festival, among others.
With a love for craft, collaboration, and community, Amr is passionate about being part of the global network of filmmakers and creatives, whether that means location scouts in Denmark, night shoots in Austin, or pitch decks over coffee in Cape Town.
