Founder & Senior Colourist, Lizard
Karim Mira is a Cairo-based Senior Colourist and founder of Lizard (est. 2013), a boutique studio crafting bold visuals across commercials, films, and music videos. His collaborations span the Middle East and Europe, with clients ranging from multinational agencies to leading production houses. Recognised with major awards including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio, and Dubai Lynx, Mira also co-produced the Palme d’Or–winning short Sixteen (Cannes 2020).
He has recently served as a jury member for D&AD and the Ciclope Festival, cementing his role not only as a creator but also as a tastemaker in the global industry. With a background in business and marketing, and an expanding footprint into Athens, he blends artistry with strategy — always pushing colour to tell stories that resonate and last.
