Renu Hossain (RENU) is a London born, Bengali heritage, composer, producer, percussionist, sound designer, curator and researcher.
RENU released "They Dance in the Dark" late 2017 to critical acclaim and has played percussion for the likes of Grace Jones and boundary-pushing political rap collective Fun_da_mental. She has composed for the Bavarian State Opera and has been lionised by BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 3, The Times, The Quietus, Art Forum Magazine, Cannes Film Festival & Electronic Sound Magazine. Learning from percussion Masters in India, Brazil, Spain and Cuba, composing for choreography, theatre & film.
