Hailing from London, Leila is a prominent editor in the Australian Film and TV industry. Since joining The Editors, she’s worked with numerous notable artists and household brands in the music and commercial sectors. Leila’s accolades and nominations include Best Edited Music Video at the ASE awards, Asia Pacific Bronze Editor of the Year 2021 and numerous Ellies nominations.
In addition to this, in 2024, Leila made a foray into narrative based work, with the 7 AACTA nominated Stan series, Exposure, as her first major series release. She received a prestigious AACTA nomination for her dynamic and powerful work on the series.
Leila’s playful nature brings the pleasure back into editing, where she aligns her love of developing and pushing creative boundaries along with unique storytelling beyond the scope.
