Prerna is an award-nominated communications executive and veteran storyteller with over two decades of global experience across entertainment, technology, media and journalism. Currently serving as Vice President of Communications for Asia and the Middle East at Sony Music Entertainment, Prerna leads regional communication strategy, brand narrative, and key platform rollouts across two of the world's most dynamic growth markets.
Before joining Sony Music, Prerna held senior communications leadership positions at global tech leaders Meta and Cisco. Her career began in international journalism as a foreign correspondent for major global networks, including Al Jazeera and the BBC, reporting on critical global conflicts and human rights stories.
A recognized voice in the creative and communications industry, Prerna's achievements have been celebrated across major international platforms. She was featured in Aspire, highlighting top global communications leaders, and is a frequent contributor to industry juries. Most recently, she served as an Awarding Juror for the Entertainment Lions for Music at the 2026 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
