Editor, Stitch Editing

Flaura Atkinson is a multi award winning editor represented by Stitch Editing. She started her career over a decade ago cutting music videos, and has worked with artists such as Massive Attack, Harry Styles and Rudimental. In 2019 she received her first Best Editing nomination at the ukMVA’s for Body by Estrons.

Flaura’s commercial and short-form narrative work has received awards at Cannes, D&AD, Clio, British Arrows and SXSW, with awards for Best Editing including Silver and Bronze awards at shots EMEA Awards (2021) and Creative Circle Awards (2021) for NHS Then, Now, Always, and a Bronze award at Creative Circle Awards (2022) for Mini Big Love at Christmas.

She is a long-time collaborator with director Eros V in both short form narrative and commercials, editing four shorts for Eros, including Right Place, Wrong Tim (starring Asa Butterfield), Double Tap and Good Boy - which premiered on Disney+ last year. Their latest short film, Meat Puppet, won the Special Jury Prize and the Audience Award at SXSW (2024), it was shortlisted at BIFA in the same year and won Atkinson her second Gold Shark award for Best Editing at the Kinsale Shark Awards 2024/25. 

Atkinson has edited three feature films to date, the first of which, How to Stop a Recurring Dream, won Best Narrative Feature at Aesthetica Film Festival and Best Feature at the British Urban Film Festival, both in 2020. Her second feature COLD, went on to win 5 Best Editing/Editor awards at various international film festivals including the RED Movie Awards and the NY Independent Cinema Awards (2022). Her third feature, Yamas! completed post-production at the start of 2026. 

Flaura has also been recognised in Televisual’s Top 10 Best Editors list (2020).
