Roanna Williams is Co-Founder and Co-CCO of Boundless, and a self-declared creative activist. For her whole career she’s pushed for work that doesn’t just sell, it shows up. The kind people talk about, argue about, and occasionally wish they’d made.Boundless was built on that belief: creating the world’s most loved ideas. Not the safest. Not the ones that survive 15 rounds of approval and come out looking like wallpaper. As the first female Chair of the Creative Circle South Africa, she pushed for a braver, more diverse, less self-serious industry. One that remembers its job is to influence culture, not just fill media space.
Her work has won globally, but she’ll tell you the real win is when an idea enters culture, gets quoted, remixed or quietly copied.
She’s also a director of Open Chair, helping grow the next generation of leaders.
At Boundless, she leads with a simple belief: If everyone in the room feels comfortable, it’s probably the wrong idea.
