Downs has over 20 years experience in the Advertising Industry from New York & Melbourne to London.
In 2025, she was appointed Joint Managing Director of Darling Films, alongside Clare Timms and Kelly Doyle Montejo, in recognition of her contribution to the company’s growth and creative development, having played a central role in expanding Darling’s client base, nurturing new creative voices and raising the company’s profile.
Known for her commercial instinct, strong industry relationships and passion for emerging directorial talent, Downs has helped Darling Films build a distinctive roster spanning established and emerging filmmakers, working across international advertising, branded content and film production.
She has also been recognised as one of the Top 100 Pitch Superwomen.
