Malek Al Hamami is an award-winning film director who is based in Riyadh & the middle east but operates on a global scale. He is the CCO for Media Turtles Network and CEO of Whizz Film.
Al Hamami considers the film to be a non-physical art form that allows him to transcend visual limitations by relying on the use of authenticity & relatability. His genuine passion, dedication & collaborative spirit have helped him create groundbreaking shorts, musicals, and advertising campaigns that both mix the local authentic touch with international standard films.
Al Hamami’s educational journey has expanded his perspective & way of thinking. He pursued extensive studying in Graphic Arts, Architectural Design, Photography, & Post-Production before ultimately pursuing film directing. Having worked in key roles across various departments in production & post-production, he has developed a holistic approach to creative development & problem-solving, making him a valuable team player and a valuable asset in directing both films and businesses.
Al Hamami's vision and expertise with areas around the region enables him to fully understand the essence of the culture, showcase it to the world and invite people from all over the world to focus on how the MENA region is full of stellar talents. Al Hamami has been awarded Best Director of the Year 2025 in Athar Festival of Creativity in Saudi Arabia.
