Director
Jessie Zinn is a South African director working across commercials, scripted film and documentary. With roots in nonfiction storytelling, her work moves between the observed and the constructed, always with a fascination for people and the worlds they inhabit.
She has directed commercials internationally for brands including Four Seasons, Marriott and Generali Insurance, while her films have travelled to festivals including Visions du Réel, DOC NYC, Palm Springs and Aspen Shortsfest. Her independent work has also been acquired by The New Yorker, won a SAFTA (South African Film and Television Award) and received two Vimeo Staff Picks.
